I've had what seems to be a pretty nasty sinus infection for about a week now. The past couple days when I blow my nose there is a squeaky cracking sound in my right ear. Did I hurt my ear blowing my nose so hard? I have been having trouble hearing but that feels like it's just a result of my clogged up face.

DON'T WORRY.:-) THE SQUEEZING NOISE IS BECAUSE OF A NATURAL CONNECTION(tube) BETWEEN OUR EAR AND NOSE..IT IS CALLED 'EUSTACHIAN TUBE'..IT IS A MECHANISM TO BALANCE THE PRESSURE INSIDE AND OUTSIDE YOUR EAR...YOUR EUSTACHIAN TUBE MA BE CLOSED TEMPORARILY DUE TO COLD OR ANY INFECTIONS INCLUDING SINUS INFECTION .THAT IS WHY YOU ARE HAVING HEARING PROBLEM.. AND WHEN YOU BLOW YOUR NOSE, IT OPENS AND AIR ENTERS MIDDLE EAR..THIS ACCOUNTS FOR THE SQUEEZING NOISE..DON'T WORRY, IT WILL NOT HARM YOU IN ANY WAY.:-)

You have Wax buildup. Buy EuroWax Removal from WalMart or CVS and clean out your ears
